Calm seas, motoring into headwind. Still looks like Saturday arrival in Argentina.

Bob and June: In 2011 my wife of 40 years watched a travel show featuring a hands-on sailing expedition to Antarctica. The featured expedition was aboard the Spirit of Sydney, an Australian yacht designed for the BOC around the world race. Since I have been daydreaming about a sailing adventure like this for decades, June decided to call my bluff and suggest we try to get accepted as crew on the expedition scheduled in 2012. I called her bluff and made inquiries. Now we have bluffed our way onto the crew of this 60 foot aluminum yacht bound from Ushuaia, Argentina, around Cape Horn and south across the Southern Ocean to the Antarctic Peninsula. Ten people will be on the boat with sailing skills varying from expert to mine!
